Be at least 18 years of age.
Consent to and pass a State Background Check.
Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Be free of convictions or founded allegations of abuse.
Minimum of high school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
Experience or sincere interest in working with adults or children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities within a setting promoting community integration, normalization, and treatment of all persons with dignity and respect.
Stoop, bend, lift, and carry at least fifty (50) pounds of weight without assistance when performing household duties, shopping, or assisting individuals served.
Lift and/or transfer physically challenged individuals who require such assistance to remain active and mobile while engaged in household or community activities.
To actively participate in developing and implementing plans to meet the needs of the individuals served.
Document all activity relative to the daily activities.
Experience as a PSW or caretake is a plus In addition to competitive wages $24.
00-$26.
